Best Poem

Sweat pours down my face as my heart starts pounding.
Trying my hardest to keep up with your pace but you work so fast it's astounding.
I've never felt this way before so alive and so aware.
We've never met before yet neither of us seems to care.
You're so illusive so dark and mysterious.
You bring out a different side of me that's stupid and fearless.
Running in circles looking for you.
Stuck in a wonderland where fantasy blends with truth.
Every step you make puts me farther behind
I fear that I'm crazy and this is all in my mind.
Maybe I'm crazy and this is a delusion.
I really hope not because in this land my life has purpose
I will not rest until I'm on top,
Until were face to face I will not stop. I refuse to let up until I win this.
But just as I touch my hand to the silk vest on your back,
I hear someone calling me and everything fades to black.
